Refund Policy
Effective August 20, 2026
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to payments made directly to TV Mount Labs for residential or commercial TV mounting and related services. It supplements our Terms of Service and any written estimate, invoice, work order, booking confirmation, or service agreement (collectively, a “Service Agreement”). If a Service Agreement contains more specific refund or cancellation terms accepted by the customer, those terms control to the extent permitted by law.
2. Quote requests
Submitting the Website quote form is free and does not itself create a charge, require payment, or confirm an appointment. An online estimate is preliminary and may change after the scope, site conditions, materials, and scheduling are confirmed.
3. Advance payments and deposits
If a deposit or advance payment is required, its amount, purpose, and any applicable cancellation conditions will be disclosed before payment. TV Mount Labs will not treat an advance payment as nonrefundable unless that condition was clearly disclosed and accepted before payment, subject to applicable law.
4. Customer cancellations and rescheduling
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any deadline, cancellation fee, lost deposit, or rescheduling charge must appear in the applicable booking confirmation or Service Agreement. If no special cancellation term was disclosed, any refund of an advance payment will be based on the portion not reasonably committed to authorized labor, delivered materials, disclosed special-order items, or other customer-approved project costs.
5. Cancellation by TV Mount Labs
If TV Mount Labs cancels a confirmed service and the parties do not agree to reschedule, we will refund payments received for labor not performed and standard materials not delivered. This does not limit either party’s rights concerning authorized work already completed or nonreturnable special-order materials disclosed in advance.
6. Completed services and workmanship concerns
Completed labor is not automatically refundable merely because a customer changes their mind after the agreed work is performed. If you believe the work is incomplete, damaged, defective, or materially different from the confirmed scope, notify us promptly with the service date, location, description, and supporting photographs when available.
We may inspect the installation and, when appropriate, offer correction, completion, replacement, a partial refund, or another reasonable remedy. Where a written workmanship warranty applies, warranty service is ordinarily the first remedy for a covered workmanship issue. Nothing in this Policy limits remedies that cannot legally be waived.
7. Materials and customer-supplied equipment
Unopened standard materials supplied by TV Mount Labs may be refundable when returnable and not installed, less any previously disclosed restocking or return cost. Custom, cut, installed, used, or special-order materials may be nonrefundable when that limitation was disclosed before purchase.
TV Mount Labs does not issue refunds for televisions, brackets, soundbars, cables, devices, or other equipment purchased from another seller. Returns for customer-supplied equipment must be handled with that seller, although we will reasonably cooperate with documentation about the installation when appropriate.
8. Duplicate or incorrect charges
Verified duplicate charges, mathematical billing errors, or amounts collected for services and materials that were neither provided nor authorized will be corrected or refunded.
9. Requesting a refund
Email info@tvmountlabs.com with the subject “Refund Request.” Include the customer name, service address, service date, invoice or estimate number if available, amount disputed, reason for the request, and relevant photographs or documents. Do not email full payment-card numbers or other sensitive financial information.
10. Review and payment of approved refunds
We will review requests in good faith and may ask for information or a reasonable opportunity to inspect or correct the work. Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution. A refund is complete when TV Mount Labs submits it to the payment provider.
11. Charge disputes and legal rights
Please contact us first so we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve a billing or service concern. This request does not waive any nonwaivable right to dispute a charge or pursue a remedy under applicable law. This Policy does not exclude warranties, refunds, or remedies that Texas or federal law requires.
12. Policy changes and contact
We may update this Policy prospectively. The policy in effect when a payment is made will generally govern that payment unless the parties agree otherwise or law requires a different result. Questions may be sent to info@tvmountlabs.com.
